Brane Labs

We build a persistent memory layer for AI-native development teams.

AI has made development faster. It has also made it more forgetful. Context disappears. Decisions are lost. Teams move quickly but shared understanding decays.

Brane exists to make development memoryful instead of stateless.

What we are building

Brane is infrastructure for long-lived memory across developers and AI agents.

It is designed for teams that use copilots, agents, and automated systems daily. Not for demos. Not for chat logs.

The goal is simple. Knowledge should accumulate over time.

SuperDocs

SuperDocs is an AI-native documentation and memory system for codebases.

It is used by more than 300 developers and powers over 500 projects. SuperDocs turns repositories, architectural decisions, and system context into structured, living memory.

It helps teams understand why systems exist, not just what the code does.

Brane Local

Brane Local is a local persistent memory layer for developers.

It runs alongside the development environment. It stores context across sessions, tools, and agents. It is designed for control, privacy, and long-term use.

Brane Local treats memory as core infrastructure.

Why Brane Labs

AI increased local velocity. It reduced shared understanding.

The real bottleneck is no longer intelligence. It is memory and coordination.

Brane Labs exists to solve that problem.

Research

We study how autonomous systems fail in the real world.

This includes memory corruption, context poisoning, and adversarial agent interaction. Our work focuses on live systems, not theoretical models.

Status

We are early and building.

More soon.
